Any walk on Norwood Road is made more enjoyable by the planted containers and de-paved beds along the pavement. They are kept in good order by SE27 Street Gardeners, a local volunteer group doing an invaluable job of up-keep, supported by a recent Lotto grant awarded to Station to Station.

They are happy to welcome new members, whether you already have gardening knowledge or would like to learn (or just join in for fun..) they are eager to hear from you. If you’d like to find out more in person they meet on Friday mornings at 10am outside Village Masaleh (196 Norwood Road) or on every 4th Sunday in the month outside Knowles (296 Norwood Road) at 10am.

Contact project leader Kim on 07986 834 101 or visit the Urban Greening Project to find out more.
