Following on from our item on the Picturehouse, we would like to encourage everyone to use the Library.

It is very popular for students to use the computers for their school work and the spaces are used by local groups. But the library side seems under-used and a little neglected. We would encourage Lambeth to invest in buying new books to refresh those currently on offer, and we would encourage YOU to use it and there’s now a good reason!

Lambeth will be holding a Summer Reading Adventure for children over the long summer break. From July 21st to September 13th children from 4 to 12 can tackle a range of fun Challenges for which there are prizes, including some provided by local businesses. There are adventures too for the under 4s.

You can sign up at the library or go to Lambeth Libraries.
